How we test power adapters and cable assemblies — IQC to OQC.

Three quality gates on every order, a 100% final electrical test on every unit, and an in-house lab that hands you the data — not a subcontractor's word. This is the page for the buyer who came to audit us.

The short answer

Every order passes three quality gates — IQC on incoming parts, IPQC in process, and OQC before it ships — sampled to GB/T 2828.1 Level II. On top of that, every single unit gets a 100% final electrical test: safety and function on power, continuity and hipot on cable. It runs in our own lab, and the data ships with the order.

Three gates on every order.

Quality is checked three times before a unit leaves — on the way in, on the line, and on the way out — so a problem is caught at the station where it happens, not at your dock.

IQC01

Incoming quality control

Every component and material is checked against spec on arrival — magnetics, PCBs, enclosures, connectors, copper — with mill and material certificates, sampled before anything reaches the line.

IPQC02

In-process quality control

First-piece confirmation and running checks at the station — solder, winding, assembly, and dimensional — so a drift is caught on the line, not discovered at the end of the run.

OQC03

Outgoing quality control

A final audit of finished goods before packing — appearance, function, packaging, and marking — sampled to GB/T 2828.1 Level II, on top of the 100% final electrical test every unit already passed.

First-article — before the run, not after.

A custom build is validated before it is produced at volume. It is how we keep a spec problem out of a full run.

  1. 01

    Production-representative sample

A sample built on the production line and process — not a hand-made mock-up — so what we test is what you will actually receive.

  2. 02

    Tested to your spec

The sample is tested against your requirements — voltage, connector, cable construction, and certification — and the results are shared before sign-off.

  3. 03

    First-piece confirmed by IPQC

When the run starts, IPQC confirms the first piece against the approved article before the line is released to volume.

  4. 04

    Then the run

Production proceeds under the same drawing, test procedure, and gates — with the approved sample as the reference.

The documentation you receive.

Quality your procurement team can audit isn’t a claim — it’s a file. Every order ships with the records below, each verifiable by file number, alongside the management-system standards our manufacturing runs under.

UL file numbersUL 62368-1 by file number — verifiable at the source, not a logo on a carton.
DoE efficiency dataDepartment of Energy Level VI efficiency figures for the power build.
Electrical test reportsThe 100% final-test data: safety, function, continuity, and hipot results.
Certificate of originPer shipment, referencing the invoice and bill of lading — so your broker enters it clean.
HTS classificationThe classification the order enters under, written down with the origin rationale.

Quality & testing — common questions

Do you test every unit, or just a sample?

Every unit gets a 100% final electrical test — safety and function on power builds, continuity and hipot on cable assemblies. On top of that, the three gates (IQC on incoming, IPQC in process, OQC before ship) are sampled to GB/T 2828.1 Level II. The 100% test and the sampling plan are separate layers, not one or the other.

What is your AQL?

We sample to GB/T 2828.1 (equivalent to ISO 2859-1 / ANSI Z1.4) at General Inspection Level II, with the acceptance limits set per program and confirmed on your quote rather than quoted as a generic number. That sampling sits on top of the 100% final electrical test every unit already passes.

Do test reports ship with my order?

Yes. The UL file number, DoE Level VI efficiency data, FCC, and the electrical / continuity / hipot results ship with the order, along with the certificate of origin and HTS classification — each verifiable by file number at the source.

Do you do first-article inspection?

Yes. Before a run, a production-representative sample is tested to your spec and the first piece is confirmed by IPQC. Production does not start until that first article is signed off against your requirements.

Can I audit your line?

Yes. We build in our own plants, so you or your auditor can review the process on the floor, the test capability, and the real data read against your spec — not a sales showroom or a subcontractor’s word.

What certifications do you hold?

On product: UL 62368-1, DoE Level VI, FCC, RoHS, and REACH. On manufacturing systems: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO/IEC 27001, TL 9000, QC 080000, ESD S20.20, and Amfori BSCI — each verifiable by file number.
